Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Purchpad website (purchpad.co.za) or placing an order. By accessing our site or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Purchpad", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Purchpad, the operator of purchpad.co.za.
  • "Customer", "you", or "your" refers to the individual placing an order or browsing our store.
  • "Products" refers to fragrances and related items listed for sale on our website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

3. Orders and Pricing

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders placed at an incorrect price.
  • An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.
  • Orders are subject to product availability. In the event of a stock discrepancy, we will notify you and offer a refund or suitable alternative.

4. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of checkout. We accept all payment methods available at checkout. All transactions are processed securely. Purchpad does not store your payment card details.

5. Shipping and Delivery

All orders are shipped via DPD. Estimated delivery times are 14–28 business days. Shipping costs are R75 for orders under R1,000 and free for orders R1,000 and above. For full details, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy is as follows:

  • Return window: You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Fragrance-specific conditions: Due to the nature of fragrance products, returns are only accepted if the item is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging. We are unable to accept returns on opened or used fragrances for hygiene and safety reasons, unless the product is defective or was delivered incorrectly.
  • Defective or incorrect items: If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
  • Refund processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Purchpad or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Purchpad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection legislation, including POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
